Child of Wonder: Celebrating 25 Years with the SCC Family of Choirs
The SCC family of choirs is delighted to mount it's 25th annual holiday concert on Saturday, December 10th, at 7pm, at First United Church in White Rock. The first of three concerts in our "Silver Anniversary" season, this family friendly show is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit, complete with sing-along numbers, old familiar favourites, and new treasures. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us for our 22nd annual Year End Concert!
A lovely treat for the Mothers in your lives - this Sunday, May 11th at 2pm, the Surrey Children's Choir Family of Choirs presents "Season of Love" at the Surrey Arts Centre Mainstage.
The concert will see performances from the Junior Training Choir, Senior Children's Choir, Chamber Choir, and Youth Choir, and solos from Kasia Lajlo, Cassandra Strain, Rosa Mendes, Jordan Moens and Stephanie Schollen, celebrating their 10th, 15th and 20th years, respectively.
From tunes from Rent, West Side Story, Les Miserables and Sound of Music, to Folk Songs, Opera and Disney, "Season of Love" promises a little something for everyone.

First Semester: In Review
Dear choristers, parents and lovers of song,
Happy New Year, and welcome to the second semester of the
Surrey Children’s Choir family of choir’s 22nd season! Our
first semester was incredibly successful, marked by fun and efficient choir
retreats, collaboration with another local children’s choir, community
engagements and, as always, beautiful song.

Ahead in 2014 –
The Senior, Chamber and Youth Choirs, and the Adult
Community Chorus have already begun work for this April’s Spring Concert –
featuring Mozart’s C Minor Mass. Continuing to honour his centenary year, the Chamber
Choir will present Benjamin Britten’s Kyrie.
In April and May, the choirs will compete at the annual
Vancouver and Fraser Valley Kiwanis Festivals. Best of luck to all the
choirs, and here’s hoping the Seniors maintain their Provincial title!
This May, the Senior, Chamber and Youth choirs will embark
on a tour of the Gulf Islands to share their love of song with residents there.
Also in May, the ‘family of choirs’ will present its
year-end concert at the Surrey Arts Centre on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11th.
